Both from England
and Germany come unity
In complaint for
attitudes of Swedish Press,
That has lasted
for some weeks. Perhaps
Unfair in their
surmise, concerns Stockholm’s
Moderate viewing
paper, entitled Tidningen,
That states Sweden’s
decision for neutrality
In war - the
Riksdag and government continued
Views have been
reflected in Swedish Press,
To gain
acceptance within the English Press.
With regard to
the war, ideas, sympathies and
Opinions are
divided in Scandinavian Sweden.
That while
different views needs expression,
There should not
be complaints from either
British or German
sides - in so far as loyalty
Towards Swedish
neutrality is respected.
There is but one
belief in this country - to say
That Sweden, in
this present war will preserve
Loyal neutrality
- independently of any belief
Of groups -
Sweden calls to Swedes abroad,
Instead of
aggravating their native country’s
Stand, they need
to make clear the neutral view.
